Rear Bumper: Service and Repair
REMOVAL1. REMOVE FLOOR MAT
2. REMOVE DOOR STRIKER COVER
3. REMOVE TRIM REAR COVER
4. REMOVE TRIM FRONT COVER
5. REMOVE LH AND RH SIDE COVERS
6. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT
a. Remove the 4 nuts and disconnect the connector.
b. Remove the rear combination light.
c. Employ the same manner described above to the other side.
7. REMOVE VENTILATION DUCT
Remove the 3 screws and ventilation duct.
8. REMOVE REAR BUMPER COVER
a. Remove the 4 screws, 12 nuts and 14 clips.
b. Remove the bumper cover.
9. REMOVE LICENSE LIGHT AND BUMPER EXTENSION
a. Remove the bumper energy absorber from the bumper cover.
b. Remove the 3 screws and licence light.
c. Remove the 4 nuts and bumper extensions.
10. REMOVE BUMPER REINFORCEMENT
Remove the 6 bolts and reinforcement.
Torque: 13 N.m (130 kgf.cm, 9 ft.lbf)
INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
