MARK LEVINSON AMPLIFIER INSTALLATION CAUTIONS
Models:
'01 - '02 GS 430/300, LS 430, LX 470; '02 ES 300 & SC 430
Introduction
Some replacement Mark Levinson amplifiers may appear to be inoperative when first installing them into a vehicle. The following cautions should ensure the amplifier will work properly when installed.
Applicable Vehicles
^ 2001 - 2002 model year GS 300, GS 430, LS 430 and LX 470 vehicles equipped with the Mark Levinson sound system.
^ 2002 model year ES 300 and SC 430 vehicles equipped with the Mark Levinson sound system.
Installation Cautions
1. With the ignition key out of the ignition, install the replacement amplifier into the vehicle.
2. Insert the ignition key into the ignition, turn the ignition key to "ACC" and wait for 5 minutes.
NOTE
During this 5 minute period, the amplifier is initializing itself to match the vehicle's audio settings.
3. After 5 minutes, turn the ignition key to "LOCK" and wait 1 minute.
4. After 1 minute, turn the ignition key to "ACC" and push the "Power" button on the radio to confirm normal sound system operation.
