DTC 5 (FIVE) "CODE 5. BACK-UP BATTERY FAILURE"

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION

DTC Detection Condition:

The portable phone-L battery is provided under the rear seat no.1 and enables communication with the LEXUS link center for about 15 minutes after the vehicle battery becomes inoperative.

HINT: If this DTC is not cleared even when the battery is replaced, replace the telephone ECU assy (mayday ECU).
