SRS Warning Light Check

SRS WARNING LIGHT CHECK




a. Turn the ignition switch to ON position, and check that the SRS warning light comes on.
b. Check that the SRS warning light goes out after approx. 6 seconds.

HINT:
- When the ignition switch is at ON and the SRS warning light remains on or flashes, the airbag sensor assy center has detected a malfunction code.
- After approx. 6 seconds have elapsed, if the SRS warning light sometimes comes on even when the ignition switch is OFF, short in the SRS warning light circuit is suspected. Proceed to "SRS warning light circuit malfunction".
- The SRS warning light stays on when the fitting of the connector of the airbag sensor assy center is incomplete. Proceed to "SRS warning light circuit malfunction (Always light up, when ignition witch is LOCK position.)".
