Multiplex Communication System

TERMINALS OF ECU

Terminals Of ECU:




1. INSPECT INSTRUMENT PANEL J/B ASSY (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)

a. Disconnect the B5 ECU, 1D, 1E, 1F, 1M and 1R J/B connectors.

Pinouts:




b. Check the voltage and resistance between each terminal of the wire harness side connectors.

If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

Terminals Of ECU:




2. CHECK INTEGRATION SWITCH (w/o LEXUS NAVIGATION SYSTEM)

a. Disconnect the C4 switch connector.

Pinouts:




b. Check the voltage and resistance of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.

If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

Terminals Of ECU:




3. CHECK NETWORK GATEWAY ECU (w/ LEXUS NAVIGATION SYSTEM)

a. Disconnect the G3 ECU connector.

Pinouts:




b. Check the voltage and resistance of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.

If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

Terminals Of ECU:




4. CHECK ECM

a. Disconnect the E5, E6 and E7 ECM connectors.

b. Check the voltage and resistance of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.

If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

Terminals Of ECU:




5. CHECK TRANSPONDER KEY ECU ASSY

a. Disconnect the T9 ECU connector.

Pinouts:




b. Check the voltage and resistance of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.

If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

Terminals Of ECU:




6. CHECK MULTIPLEX TILT & TELESCOPIC ECU

a. Disconnect the T4 ECU connector.

b. Check the voltage and resistance of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.

If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

Terminals Of ECU:




7. CHECK A/C AMPLIFIER (A/C ECU)

a. Disconnect the A8 amplifier connector.

Pinouts:




b. Check the voltage and resistance of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.

If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

Terminals Of ECU:




8. CHECK OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU ASSY (PASSENGER SIDE)

a. Disconnect the R22 ECU connector.

b. Check the voltage and resistance of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.

If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

Terminals Of ECU:




9. CHECK OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU ASSY (DRIVER SIDE)

a. Disconnect the R21 ECU connector.

Pinouts:




b. Check the voltage and resistance of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.

If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

Terminals Of ECU:




10. CHECK WINDSHIELD WIPER RELAY ASSY (WIPER ECU)

a. Disconnect the A28 relay connector.

Pinouts:




b. Check the voltage and resistance of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.

If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

Terminals Of ECU:




11. CHECK TELEPHONE ECU

a. Disconnect the M8 and M9 ECU connectors.

Pinouts:




b. Check the voltage and resistance of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.

If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

Terminals Of ECU:




12. CHECK POSITION CONTROL ECU & SWITCH (POWER SEAT ECU)

a. Disconnect the P32 and P33 ECU connectors.

Pinouts:




b. Check the voltage and resistance of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.

If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

Terminals Of ECU:




13. CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU BACK (BACK DOOR ECU)

a. Disconnect the P13 and P14 ECU connectors.

Pinouts:




b. Check the voltage and resistance of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.

If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

Terminals Of ECU:




14. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSY

a. Disconnect the P22 switch connector.

Pinouts:




b. Check the voltage and resistance of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.

If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

Terminals Of ECU:




15. CHECK COMBINATION METER ASSY

a. Disconnect the C8 and C9 meter connectors.

Pinouts:




b. Check the voltage and resistance of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.

If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

Terminals Of ECU:




16. CHECK AIRBAG SENSOR ASSY (AIRBAG ECU)

a. Disconnect the A20 sensor connector.

Pinouts:




b. Check the voltage and resistance of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.

If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

Terminals Of ECU:




17. CHECK SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR ASSY (SLIDING ROOF ECU (STANDARD TYPE))

a. Disconnect the M12 gear connector.

Pinouts:




b. Check the voltage and resistance of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.

If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

Terminals Of ECU:




18. CHECK SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR ASSY (SLIDING ROOF ECU (MULTI-PANEL MOON ROOF TYPE))

a. Disconnect the M12 ECU connector.

Pinouts:




b. Check the voltage and resistance of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.

If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

Terminals Of ECU:




19. CHECK RAIN SENSOR

a. Disconnect the R7 sensor connector.

Pinouts:




b. Check the voltage and resistance of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.

If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

Terminals Of ECU:




20. CHECK HEADLAMP SWIVEL ECU (AFS ECU)

a. Disconnect the A14 ECU connector.

Pinouts:




b. Check the voltage and resistance of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.

If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
