Rain Sensor: Service and Repair
REPLACEMENT1. REMOVE RAIN SENSOR
a. Release the rain sensor cover as shown in the illustration.
b. Pull out the stopper as shown in the illustration, and release the lock.
c. Disconnect the connector and remove the rain sensor.
2. INSTALL RAIN SENSOR
a. Connect the connector, install the rain sensor and rain sensor cover.
NOTE:
- Check if the rain sensor tape remains on the windshield glass after removing the rain sensor. If it remains, remove it.
- Clean the glass with cloth, etc..
- The rain sensor tape is reusable, however, in case it is dirty or damaged, replace the rain sensor and rain sensor tape with new ones.
- Attach rain sensor tape so that bubbles do not enter between windshield glass and rain sensor tape, or rain sensor tape and rain sensor.
