Instrument Panel Air Bag Assy Lower No.1 Replacement

Instrument Panel Air Bag Assy Lower No.1:

REPLACEMENT

1. PRECAUTION
Refer to Air Bag Systems; Service Precautions.
2. DISCONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL
3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY LOWER




4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL AIR BAG ASSEMBLY LOWER NO.1
a. Remove the clamp.
b. Using a screwdriver, disconnect the airbag connector.
c. Remove the 4 bolts and the instrument panel airbag assembly lower No.1.




5. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL AIR BAG ASSEMBLY LOWER NO.1
a. Install the instrument panel airbag assembly lower No.1 with the 4 bolts.

Torque: 7.6 N.m (78 kgf.cm, 68 in.lbf)

b. Connect the airbag connector and install the clamp.

6. INSPECT INSTRUMENT PANEL AIR BAG ASSEMBLY LOWER NO.1
7. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
