Headlight Leveling ECU

REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTE: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE
3. REMOVE HEADLIGHT LEVELING ECU ASSEMBLY




a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Remove the bolt, nut and swivel ECU.

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL HEADLIGHT LEVELING ECU ASSEMBLY




a. Connect the connector.
b. Install the headlight leveling ECU and nut, bolt.

2. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE
3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
4. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
a. Perform initialization procedure.

NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

5. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
a. Inspect SRS warning light.

6. VEHICLE PREPARATION FOR HEADLIGHT AIM ADJUSTMENT
a. Vehicle preparation for headlight aim adjustment.

7. PREPARATION FOR HEADLIGHT AIMING
a. Preparation for headlight aiming.

8. INSPECT HEADLIGHT
a. Inspect headlight.
