Memory Positioning Systems: Testing and Inspection
CHECK MEMORY SWITCH OPERATIONa. Memory
Memorizes the positions when all conditions as given have been met and the 1, 2 or 3 button is pushed while the "SET" button is pushed.
- Engine switch is on (IG).
- Shift position is "P" (A/T models).
- Vehicle speed is 3 km (1.9 mph) or less (M/T models).
- Parking brake lever is pulled (M/T models).
When the memory setting is completed, the buzzer will sound for 0.5 seconds.
b. Recall
If the button 1, 2 or 3 is pressed when all conditions as given have been met, it recalls the positions.
- Engine switch is on (IG).
- Shift position is "P" (A/T models).
- Vehicle speed is 3 km (1.9 mph) or less (M/T models).
- Parking brake lever is pulled (M/T models).
If the button 1, 2 or 3 is pressed when all conditions have been met and within 30 seconds, it recalls the positions.
- Engine switch on (IG).
- Driver door is opened.
