Map Light: Testing and Inspection

INSPECTION

1. INSPECT OVERHEAD JUNCTION BLOCK (PERSONAL LIGHT)




a. Disconnect the R5 connector from the personal light.




b. Measure the resistance of the connector.




c. Measure the voltage of the connector.
If the result is not as specified, repair or replace wire harness or connector.




d. Connect the (+) lead from the battery to terminal 1 and the (-) lead to terminal 18.




e. Check that the personal light comes on.
If the result is not as specified, replace the overhead J/B assembly.
