Coolant Line/Hose: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER
2. REMOVE HEATER WATER OUTLET HOSE
3. REMOVE HEATER WATER INLET HOSE
4. REMOVE WATER BY-PASS GLOW PLUG
5. REMOVE WATER HOSE JOINT




a. Remove the 2 bolts.
b. Disconnect the 2 hoses, and remove the water hose joint.

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL WATER HOSE JOINT




a. Connect the 2 hoses, and install the water hose joint with the 2 bolts.

Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf.cm, 7 ft.lbf)

2. INSTALL WATER BY-PASS GLOW PLUG
3. INSTALL HEATER WATER INLET HOSE
4. INSTALL HEATER WATER OUTLET HOSE
5. INSTALL V-BANK COVER
6. ADD ENGINE COOLANT
7. WARM UP ENGINE
8. CHECK FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAKS
