Differential Mount: Service and Repair
DIFFERENTIAL MOUNT CUSHIONComponents 4GR-FSE:
REMOVAL
1. REMOVE REAR DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER ASSEMBLY
2. REMOVE NO.1 REAR DIFFERENTIAL MOUNT CUSHION
a) Using SST, remove the No.1 rear differential mount cushion.
SST 09570-24011, 09316-12010
NOTICE:
^ Do not bring the SST into contact with the subframe.
^ Do not slant the bolts of SST.
^ Set the SST in the correct direction.
^ Screw the 2 bolts of SST equally into the 2 holes of the rear differential mount.
3. REMOVE NO.2 REAR DIFFERENTIAL MOUNT CUSHION
a) Using SST, remove the No.2 rear differential mount cushion.

NOTICE:
^ Do not bring SST into contact with the subframe.
^ Do not slant the bolt of SST.
^ Set the SST in the correct direction.
INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL NO.1 REAR DIFFERENTIAL MOUNT CUSHION
a) Using SST, install a new No.1 rear differential mount cushion.

NOTICE:
^ Temporarily install the mount cushion to the member in order to prevent it from tilting and install the SST.
^ Be sure to use the correct combination of SST.
^ Make sure that the SST contacts the entire circumference of the mount cushion.
2. INSTALL NO.2 REAR DIFFERENTIAL MOUNT CUSHION
a) Using SST, install a new No.2 rear differential mount cushion.

NOTICE:
^ Temporarily install the mount cushion to the member in order to prevent it from tilting and install the SST.
^ Be sure to use the correct combination of SST.
^ Make sure that the SST contacts the entire circumference of the mount cushion.
3. INSTALL REAR DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER ASSEMBLY
