Front Door Lock
INSPECTION1. INSPECT FRONT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY LH
a. Apply battery voltage to the door lock motor and check operation of the door lock motor.
If the result is not as specified, replace the door lock motor assembly.
b. Measure the resistance of the door lock position switch.
If the result is not as specified, replace the door lock motor assembly.
c. Measure the resistance of the door lock and unlock switch.
If the result is not as specified, replace the door lock motor assembly.
d. w/ Door Closer: Closer motor operation inspection
1. Set the front door with motor lock assembly LH to the half latch position.
2. When battery voltage is applied as shown given to the terminals of connector B of the front door with motor lock assembly LH, check the operation of the door closer.
If the result is not as specified, replace the door lock motor assembly.
2. INSPECT FRONT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY RH
a. Apply battery voltage to the door lock motor and check operation of the door lock motor.
If the result is not as specified, replace the door lock motor assembly.
b. Measure the resistance of the door lock position switch.
If the result is not as specified, replace the door lock motor assembly.
c. w/ Door Closer: Closer motor operation inspection
1. Set the front door with motor lock assembly RH to the half latch position.
2. When battery voltage is applied as shown given to the terminals of connector B of the front door with motor lock assembly RH, check the operation of the door closer.
If the result is not as specified, replace the door lock motor assembly.
