INSPECTION

INSPECT SMOKE SENSOR




a. Connect the positive (+) lead to terminal 3, and the negative (-) lead to terminal 1.

NOTE: After connecting the battery to the negative battery terminal, wait 35 seconds or more before performing the smoke sensor inspection.




b. Measure the voltage of the sensor.

NOTE:
- Perform the inspection with the sensor in a dark place, as the sensor uses light to detect smoke.
- When performing the smoke inspection, perform the inspection after applying tobacco smoke for 26 seconds or more to the sensor.

If the result is not as specified, replace the sensor.
