PRECAUTION

1. NOTICE FOR INITIALIZATION
When disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal, initialize the following systems after the cable is reconnected.

System Name
Navigation System (for DVD)
Advanced Parking Guidance System
Power Trunk Lid System
Rear Door Sunshade System

2. PRECAUTIONS WHEN USING INTELLIGENT TESTER OR TECHSTREAM
a. When using the intelligent tester or Techstream with the engine switch off to troubleshoot:
Connect the intelligent tester (with CAN VIM) or Techstream to the vehicle, and turn a courtesy light switch on and off at 1.5 secondsintervals until communication between the tester and vehicle begins.
b. After all DTCs are cleared, check if the trouble occurs again 6 seconds after the engine switch on (IG).
