Overhaul

Mayday ECU:





DISASSEMBLY




1. REMOVE NO. 1 MOBILE PHONE BRACKET
a. Remove the 4 bolts and disconnect the clamp.
b. Remove the mobile phone bracket.

2. REMOVE MAYDAY ECU ASSEMBLY
a. Disconnect the connectors.
b. Remove the 4 bolts and Mayday ECU.




3. REMOVE MAYDAY BATTERY
a. Remove the nut and No. 2 mobile phone bracket.
b. Disconnect the connector and remove the Mayday battery.

4. REMOVE MAYDAY ECU WIRE
a. Disconnect the clamps and remove the Mayday ECU wire.

REASSEMBLY

NOTE: When replacing the Mayday ECU, write down the ESN and STID numbers that are located on the new Mayday ECU label. These numbers may be required to register and enroll the ECU with the LEXUS Link Call Center.

1. INSTALL MAYDAY ECU WIRE
a. Install the telephone ECU wire then connect the clamps.




2. INSTALL MAYDAY BATTERY
a. Install the Mayday battery, and then connect the connector.
b. Install the No. 2 mobile phone bracket with the nut.

3. INSTALL MAYDAY ECU ASSEMBLY
a. Install the Mayday ECU with the 4 bolts.
b. Connect the connectors.




4. INSTALL NO. 1 MOBILE PHONE BRACKET
a. Install the mobile phone bracket.
b. Install the 4 bolts and connect the clamp.
