EVAPORATOR TEMPERATURE SENSOR

REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

2. REMOVE COOLING UNIT
a. Remove the cooling unit.

3. REMOVE EVAPORATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY




4. REMOVE EVAPORATOR TEMPERATURE SENSOR
a. Remove the evaporator temperature sensor from the evaporator.

INSTALLATION




1. INSTALL EVAPORATOR TEMPERATURE SENSOR
a. Install the evaporator temperature sensor.

2. INSTALL EVAPORATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

3. INSTALL COOLING UNIT
a. Install the cooling unit.

4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

5. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
a. Perform initialization.

NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
