REMOVAL
1. PRECAUTION
2. SEPARATE BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL

HINT: Refer to Restraint Systems Service Precautions.

3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH
4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY LOWER
5. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL AIR BAG ASSEMBLY LOWER NO.1
6. REMOVE MULTIPLEX TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU
(a) Disconnect the connectors from the multiplex tilt and telescopic ECU.
(b) Using a socket wrench (+), remove the 2 screws and multiplex tilt and telescopic ECU.

INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL MULTIPLEX TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU
(a) Using a socket wrench (+), install the 2 screws.
(b) Connect the connectors to the multiplex tilt and telescopic ECU.

NOTICE:
^ The wire harness between the telescopic motor and ECU has same shape connectors at both ends.
^ When installing them, connect the connectors with the same color.

2. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL AIR BAG ASSEMBLY LOWER NO.1
3. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY LOWER
4. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH
5. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
