Evaporator Temperature Sensor / Switch: Testing and Inspection

INSPECTION

1. INSPECT NO.1COOLER THERMISTOR (A/C THERMISTOR)

a. Measure the resistance between terminals 1 and 2 of the thermistor at each temperature, as shown in the chart.

b. Check that the resistance is between the table's "maximum permissible value line" and "minimum permissible value line" for each temperature.

If the result is not as specified, replace the thermistor.
