Headlamp Alignment Sensor: Adjustments

ADJUSTMENT




1. ADJUST FRONT HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

a. Adjust the link.
1. Loosen the lock nut of the sensor link.
2. While the vehicle is unloaded, adjust the length of the sensor's arm by rotating the link so that the arm is set in the neutral position.




3. Check that the length of the threaded part, dimension (A) in the illustration, is shorter than the standard value.

Standard: A: 14 mm (0.55 in.)

b. Tighten the look nut of the sensor link.

Torque: 5.4 N.m (55 kgf.cm, 48 in.lbf)
