Installation








2UZ-FE EMISSION CONTROL: AIR PUMP:

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL AIR PUMP ASSEMBLY






(a) Install the 3 insulators to the air pump assembly.
(b) Install the air pump assembly with the 3 bolts.
Torque: 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)
2. INSTALL AIR PUMP ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET






(a) Install the air pump assembly with the 4 bolts.
Torque: 16 Nm (163 kgf-cm, 12 ft-lbf)
(b) Connect the pressure sensor connector for the air injection system.
(c) Connect the air switching valve connector.
(d) Connect the No. 2 air hose to the air switching valve.
3. INSTALL WATER BY-PASS PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

4. INSTALL INTAKE MANIFOLD ASSEMBLY Installation

5. CONNECT HOSES TO INTAKE MANIFOLD Installation

6. CONNECT CONNECTORS TO INTAKE MANIFOLD Installation

7. CONNECT NO. 2 FUEL HOSE
8. CONNECT FUEL HOSE Installation

9. INSTALL AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY
10. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

11. ADD ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair

12. CHECK FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAK On-Vehicle Inspection

13. CHECK FOR FUEL LEAK Testing and Inspection
