DIFFERENTIAL: REAR DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER ASSEMBLY:

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL REAR DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER ASSEMBLY






(a) Clean the contact surfaces of the rear differential carrier assembly and rear axle housing assembly.
(b) Install the rear differential carrier assembly and gasket with the 10 nuts and washers.
Torque: 25 Nm (255 kgf-cm, 18 ft-lbf)
2. INSTALL REAR AXLE SHAFT LH OIL SEAL Installation

3. INSTALL REAR AXLE SHAFT RH OIL SEAL
HINT: Install the RH side by the same procedures as for the LH side.

4. INSTALL REAR AXLE SHAFT LH Installation

5. INSTALL REAR AXLE SHAFT RH
HINT: Install the RH side by the same procedures as for the LH side.

6. INSTALL NO. 3 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY Installation

7. INSTALL NO. 2 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY
HINT: Install the No.2 parking brake cable assembly by the same procedures as for the No.3 parking brake cable assembly.

8. INSTALL SPEED SENSOR FRONT LH Installation

9. INSTALL SPEED SENSOR REAR RH
HINT: Install the RH side by the same procedures as for the LH side.

10. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE SHOE LH Reassembly

11. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE SHOE RH
HINT: Install the RH side by the same procedures as for the LH side.

12. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE SHOE STRUT LH
13. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE SHOE STRUT RH
HINT: Install the RH side by the same procedures as for the LH side.

14. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE SHOE STRUT COMPRESSION SPRING
15. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE SHOE STRUT COMPRESSION SPRING
HINT: Install the RH side by the same procedures as for the LH side.

16. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE SHOE RETURN TENSION SPRING Reassembly

17. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE SHOE RETURN TENSION SPRING
HINT: Install the RH side by the same procedures as for the LH side.

18. INSPECT PARKING BRAKE INSTALLATION Reassembly

19. INSTALL REAR DISC LH
20. INSTALL REAR DISC RH
HINT: Install the RH side by the same procedures as for the LH side.

21. INSTALL REAR DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY LH
HINT: Installation

22. INSTALL REAR DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY RH
HINT: Install the RH side by the same procedures as for the LH side.

23. BLEED BRAKE LINE Installation

24. INSPECT FLUID LEVEL IN RESERVOIR
25. INSPECT BRAKE FLUID LEAKAGE
26. FILL UP DIFFERENTIAL OIL Adjustments

27. INSPECT AND ADJUST DIFFERENTIAL OIL Adjustments

28. INSTALL PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY Installation

29. INSTALL REAR WHEEL
Torque: 112 Nm (1,140 kgf-cm, 83 ft-lbf)
30. INSPECT PARKING BRAKE PEDAL TRAVEL Adjustments

31. INSPECT ABS SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL
