BRAKE CONTROL: YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR:

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Transmission) Removal

2. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission) Removal

3. REMOVE NO. 1 UPPER CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH (for Automatic Transmission) Removal

4. REMOVE NO. 2 UPPER CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH (for Automatic Transmission) Removal

5. REMOVE CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Transmission) Removal

6. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission) Removal

7. REMOVE FRONT CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission) Removal

8. REMOVE FRONT ASH RECEPTACLE SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

9. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX REGISTER ASSEMBLY Removal

10. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX Removal

11. REMOVE NO. 2 REAR AIR DUCT (for Automatic Transmission)






(a) Remove the 2 clips and the No. 2 rear air duct.
12. REMOVE NO. 2 REAR AIR DUCT (for Manual Transmission)






(a) Remove the clip and the No. 2 rear air duct.
13. REMOVE YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR






(a) Disconnect the yaw rate and acceleration sensor connector.
(b) Separate the 2 wire harness clamps.
(c) Remove the 2 bolts and yaw and acceleration rate sensor.
NOTE: Do not remove the sensor from the bracket.
