INSPECTION





1. INSPECT SMOKE SENSOR
(a) Connect the positive (+) lead to terminal 3, and the negative (-) lead to terminal 1.
NOTE: After connecting the battery to the negative battery terminal, wait 35 seconds or more before performing the smoke sensor inspection.

(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

NOTICE:
- Perform the inspection with the sensor in a dark place, as the sensor uses light to detect smoke.
- When performing the smoke inspection, perform the inspection after applying tobacco smoke for 26 seconds or more to the sensor.
If the result is not as specified, replace the sensor.
