Removal









HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING: COMPRESSOR: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Removal

2. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH Removal

3. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL Removal

4. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM Service and Repair







5. REMOVE FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL LH
(a) Remove the 4 clips and seal.
6. REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT Removal

7. DISCONNECT NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE






(a) Remove the bolt and disconnect the discharge hose from the cooler compressor.
(b) Remove the O-ring from the discharge hose.
NOTICE:
Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering them.

8. DISCONNECT SUCTION HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY






(a) Remove the bolt and disconnect the suction hose from the cooler compressor.
(b) Remove the O-ring from the suction hose.
NOTICE:
Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering them.

9. REMOVE COOLER COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY






(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Remove the 3 bolts and nut.
(c) Remove the stud bolt and cooler compressor.
