Installation








3MZ-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: VVT SENSOR:

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL VVT SENSOR (for Bank 1)






(a) Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-ring on the VVT sensor (Bank 1).
(b) Install the VVT sensor (Bank 1) with the bolt.
Torque: 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf)
(c) Connect the VVT sensor (Bank 1) connector.
2. INSTALL VVT SENSOR (for Bank 2)






(a) Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-ring on the VVT sensor (Bank 2).
(b) Install the VVT sensor (Bank 2) with the bolt.
Torque: 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf)
(c) Connect the VVT sensor (Bank 2) connector.






(d) Install the heated oxygen sensor connector (Bank 2) to the wire harness bracket.
