3MZ-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY:

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY (for Bank 1)






(a) Apply a coat of engine oil to an O-ring of the sensor.
(b) Install the camshaft timing oil control valve with the bolt.
Torque: 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf)
(c) Connect the camshaft timing oil control valve connector.
2. INSTALL CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY (for Bank 2)






(a) Apply a coat of engine oil to an O-ring of the sensor.
(b) Install the camshaft timing oil control valve with the bolt.
Torque: 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf)
Connect the camshaft timing oil control valve connector.
3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE W/ RESONATOR Installation

4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP W/ INLET Installation

5. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Installation

6. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM COVER SIDE Installation

7. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE LH COVER NO.2 Installation
