Installation








POWER STEERING: POWER STEERING ECU:

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL POWER STEERING ECU ASSEMBLY






(a) Install the power steering ECU assembly with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf)






(b) Connect the 2 wire harness clamps to the power steering ECU assembly.






(c) Connect the 2 power steering ECU assembly connectors and securely lock the connectors.






(d) Install the ground cable terminal to the power steering ECU assembly with the bolt.
Torque: 6.0 Nm (61 kgf-cm, 53 in-lbf)
2. INSTALL INVERTER BRACKET NO.5






(a) Install the inverter bracket No.5 with the bolt.
Torque: 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)
3. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Installation

4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

5. INITIALIZE ROTATION ANGLE SENSOR AND CALIBRATE TORQUE SENSOR ZERO POINT Programming and Relearning
