2GR-FSE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR
(a) Apply a coat of engine oil to the O-ring of the sensor.





(b) Install the sensor with the bolt.
Torque: 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7ft-lbf)
(c) Connect the crankshaft position sensor connector.

3. INSTALL ELECTRIC INVERTER COMPRESSOR Installation
4. INSTALL NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE Installation
5. INSTALL NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT SUCTION HOSE Installation
6. INSTALL SERVICE PLUG GRIP Installation
7. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
8. CHARGE REFRIGERANT Service and Repair
9. WARM UP ENGINE Service and Repair
10. CHECK FOR LEAKAGE OF REFRIGERANT Service and Repair
11. INSTALL REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER LH
12. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER
13. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET Installation
14. INSTALL V-BANK COVER Installation
15. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Installation
16. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
(a) Perform initialization Repair Instruction - Initialization.
NOTICE:
Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
