BRAKE CONTROL: SKID CONTROL ECU: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL SKID CONTROL ECU





(a) Connect the 2 connectors and press the lock levers down to lock the connectors.
NOTICE:
Make sure that the lock levers securely lock the connectors.

(b) Connect the connector.





(c) Install the ECU with the 3 bolts.
Torque: 17 Nm (173 kgf-cm, 12ft-lbf)
(d) Connect the connector indicated in the illustration.

3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

4. CHECK AND CLEAR DTC
(a) Check and clear the DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
5. PERFORM ZERO POINT CALIBRATION OF YAW RATE SENSOR
(a) Perform the zero point calibration of the yaw rate sensor Programming and Relearning.
6. PERFORM LINEAR VALVE OFFSET LEARNING
(a) Perform the linear valve offset learning Programming and Relearning.
