Removal








AIR CONDITIONING: COMPRESSOR AND MAGNETIC CLUTCH (for 2UZ-FE): REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM Service and Repair
2. REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT Removal
3. DISCONNECT DISCHARGE HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Rear Cooler)





(a) Remove the nut and disconnect the discharge hose sub-assembly from the compressor and magnetic clutch.
(b) Remove the O-ring from the discharge hose sub-assembly.
NOTE:
Seal the opening of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering.

4. DISCONNECT COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE NO. 1 (w/ Rear Cooler)
5. DISCONNECT SUCTION HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Rear Cooler)





(a) Remove the nut and disconnect the cooler refrigerant suction hose sub-assembly from the compressor and magnetic clutch.
(b) Remove the O-ring from the cooler refrigerant suction hose sub-assembly.
NOTE:
Seal the opening of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering.

6. DISCONNECT COOLER REFRIGERANT SUCTION HOSE (w/ Rear Cooler)
7. REMOVE COMPRESSOR AND MAGNETIC CLUTCH





(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Remove the nut.
(c) Remove the 3 bolts, stay, compressor and magnetic clutch.
