FRONT SUSPENSION: FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE ENGINE WITH TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY
HINT: Remove the engine with transmission assembly. Removal

2. INSTALL ENGINE HANGERS Removal
3. REMOVE OIL LEVEL DIPSTICK
4. REMOVE OIL LEVEL DIPSTICK GUIDE Removal
5. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Removal
6. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH Removal
7. REMOVE NO.1 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR Removal
8. REMOVE NO.2 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR Removal
9. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION CROSSMEMBER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
10. REMOVE FRONT ENGINE MOUNTING INSULATOR Removal
11. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER BAR





(a) Remove the 2 nuts and the front stabilizer bar.
HINT: If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a hexagon wrench (6 mm) to hold the stud bolt.

12. SEPARATE FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY LH





(a) Remove the 2 bolts, 2 washers, 2nuts and separate the front lower suspension arm assembly LH.
13. SEPARATE FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY RH
HINT: Perform the same procedure as the LH side.

14. REMOVE POWER STEERING LINK ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the 2 bolts, 2 washers, 2 nuts, and the power steering link assembly from the front suspension crossmember.
HINT: Remove the power steering link assembly together with the front lower suspension arm assembly.
