2UR-FSE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION
HINT: When viewed from the rear of the engine assembly, Bank 1 is on the left side and Bank 2 is on the right side.





1. INSTALL AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR (for Bank 1 Sensor 1)
(a) Using SST, install the sensor to the exhaust manifold LH.
SST: 09224-00010
without SST - Torque: 44 Nm (449 kgf-cm, 32ft-lbf)
without SST - Torque: 40 Nm (408 kgf-cm, 30ft-lbf)
- Use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 300 mm (11.8 in.).
- Make sure SST and the wrench are connected in a straight line.

(b) Connect the sensor connector.
HINT: Hook the wire harness to the bracket.





2. INSTALL AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR (for Bank 2 Sensor 1)
(a) Using SST, install the sensor to the exhaust manifold RH.
SST: 09224-00010
without SST - Torque: 44 Nm (449 kgf-cm, 32ft-lbf)
without SST - Torque: 40 Nm (408 kgf-cm, 30ft-lbf)
- Use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 300 mm (11.8 in.).
- Make sure SST and the wrench are connected in a straight line.

(b) Connect the sensor connector.
3. INSTALL ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
