Tighten the bolts in several steps and in sequence

(1) Mark the cylinder head bolt head with paint as shown in the illustration.
Step 1 36 Nm (367 kgf-cm, 27 ft-lbf)
Step 2 another 90°
Step 3 additional 90°
Tighten the 2 bolts in the order shown (LH)
Torque 30 Nm (306 kgf-cm, 22 ft-lbf)
Cylinder head assembly surface variation
Cylinder head lower 0.05 mm (0.0020 in.)
Intake 0.08 mm (0.0031 in.)
Exhaust 0.08 mm (0.0031 in.)
Warpage Maximum 0.10 mm (0.0039 in.)
INSTALL CAMSHAFT BEARING CAP
Temporarily tighten the 8 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

INSTALL CAMSHAFT HOUSING SUB-ASSEMBLY
Tighten the 12 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.
