INTRODUCTION:
The head restraint height of the driver's seat is automatically adjusted according to the driver's seat position. This height has been set to the default position at the assembly plant so that it will be in the upper-most position when the seat is moved to the rear-most position. However, the head restraint position may have changed during transit and storage.

Use the following procedure to initialize the head restraint during Pre-Delivery Service (PDS) to ensure that it is set to the default position.

INITIALIZATION PROCEDURE:






1. Cycle the ignition switch to the "IG-ON" position.
2. Manually set the head restraint upward to the highest position.
A. Press and hold the Lock Release Button down.
B. Pull up on the head restraint.






3. Move the seat backward to the rear-most position until the seat motor stops.
4. Move the driver's seat forward and check that the head restraint moves downward according to the driver's seat position.
