Installation

THEFT DETERRENT / KEYLESS ENTRY: CERTIFICATION ECU: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) (w/ Pre-collision System)

(a) Install the ECU with the bolt.





Torque : 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)

(b) Install the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) with seat belt control ECU with the 2 nuts.

Torque : 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)





(c) Connect the connectors.

2. INSTALL CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) (w/o Pre-collision System)

(a) Install the ECU with the bolt.





Torque : 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)

(b) Install the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) with bracket with the 2 nuts.

Torque : 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)





(c) Connect the connectors.

3. INSTALL DRIVER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY Installation

4. INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL Installation

5. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

6. INSTALL NO. 1 SWITCH HOLE BASE Installation

7. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH Installation

8. INSTALL INNER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL BRACKET COVER LH Installation

9. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Installation

10. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

11. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Installation

12. REGISTER ECU CODE

(a) Register the ECU code Engine Immobilizer System.

13. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT

(a) Check the SRS warning light Diagnosis System.
