This is the visual mute signal circuit from the multi-display controller sub-assembly to the television display assembly.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

NG -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER - TELEVISION DISPLAY ASSEMBLY)

OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE Problem Symptoms Table

2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER - TELEVISION DISPLAY ASSEMBLY)

(a) Disconnect the multi-display controller sub-assembly connector.





(b) Disconnect the television display assembly LH connector.





(c) Disconnect the television display assembly RH connector.





(d) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Reconnect the multi-display controller sub-assembly connector.

(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
