Height Control Sensor (For Rear Side)





LIGHTING: HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR (for Rear Side): INSPECTION

1. INSPECT REAR HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUBASSEMBLY





(a) Connect 3 dry cell batteries (1.5 V) in series.

(b) Connect the dry cell battery positive (+) terminal to terminal 3 (SHB) and the negative one to terminal 1 (SHG) to apply the voltage of 4.5 V between terminals 3 (SHB) and 1 (SHG).

(c) While slowly moving the link up and down with the voltage being applied, measure the voltage between terminals 2 (SHRL) and 1 (SHG).

(c) If the result is not as specified, replace the sensor.
