LIGHTING: HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR: INSTALLATION

HINT
* Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
* The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

1. INSTALL HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY REAR

(a) Install the height control sensor with the 2 bolts.

Torque : 13.5 Nm (138 kgf-cm, 10 ft-lbf)





(b) Align matchmarks on the height control sensor and bracket.





(c) Install the nut.

Torque : 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)

(d) Connect the connector.

(e) Install the rear tire.

2. INSTALL HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY FRONT

(a) Install the height control sensor with the 2 bolts.

Torque : 13.5 Nm (138 kgf-cm, 10 ft-lbf)





(b) 4WD:





Install the height control sensor link with the bolt to the lower arm.

Torque : 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)

(c) 2WD:





Install the height control sensor link with the nut to the lower arm.

Torque : 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)

(d) Install the front tire.

3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

4. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

(a) Perform initialization Repair Instruction - Initialization.

NOTICE:
Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
