HYBRID / BATTERY CONTROL: HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION (w/ Navigation System)

NOTICE:
After the power switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch off, make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT Removal

3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL Removal

4. REMOVE COWL TOP PANEL OUTER SUB-ASSEMBLY

5. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

6. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

7. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE Removal

8. REMOVE HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU

(a) Raise the 2 levers while pushing the locks on the 2 levers, and disconnect the 2 connectors.





(b) Remove the 2 bolts.





(c) Disconnect the clamp and remove the hybrid vehicle control ECU.





(d) Remove the 4 screws and 2 ECM brackets.
