STEERING COLUMN: MULTIPLEX TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU: INSTALLATION

CAUTION:
Some of these service operations affect the SRS airbag system. Read the precautionary notices concerning the SRS airbag system before servicing Service Precautions.

1. INSTALL MULTIPLEX TILT AND TELESCOPIC ECU

(a) Install the multiplex tilt and telescopic ECU to the steering column assembly with the nut.

Torque : 25 Nm (255 kgf-cm, 18 ft-lbf)

(b) Connect the 2 connectors to the multiplex tilt and telescopic ECU.

(c) Engage the wire harness clamp to the multiplex tilt and telescopic ECU.

2. INSTALL DRIVER SIDE KNEE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

3. INSTALL LOWER STEERING COLUMN COVER Installation

4. INSTALL LOWER NO. 2 STEERING COLUMN COVER Installation

5. ALIGN FRONT WHEELS FACING STRAIGHT AHEAD

6. ADJUST SPIRAL CABLE WITH SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

7. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY Installation

8. INSTALL STEERING PAD
