Removal

AUDIO / VISUAL: STEERING PAD SWITCH: REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait for 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent airbag deployment Service Precautions.

2. REMOVE LOWER NO. 3 STEERING WHEEL COVER Removal

3. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 STEERING WHEEL COVER Removal

4. REMOVE STEERING PAD Removal

5. REMOVE STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the cruise switch connector.

(b) Disengage the connector clamp.





(c) Disconnect the pad switch connector.

(d) Remove the screw.





(e) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the steering pad switch.

(f) Remove the screw.





(g) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the steering pad switch.
