Removal





1UR-FSE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: CAMSHAFT TIMING CONTROL MOTOR: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

3. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET Removal

4. REMOVE INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR PIPE Removal

5. REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING CONTROL WITH EDU MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Disconnect the 2 camshaft timing control with EDU motor connectors.





(b) Remove the bolt and engine wire bracket.

(c) Remove the 3 bolts and camshaft timing control with EDU motor.





NOTICE:
Do not allow foreign matter to contact the oil seal face of the camshaft timing control with EDU motor (connecting surface with timing chain cover).

(d) Remove the O-ring from the timing chain cover.

6. REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING CONTROL WITH EDU MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Disconnect the 2 camshaft timing control with EDU motor connectors and engine wire clamp.





(b) Remove the 3 bolts and camshaft timing control with EDU motor.





NOTICE:
Do not allow foreign matter to contact the oil seal face of the camshaft timing control with EDU motor (connecting surface with timing chain cover).

(c) Remove the O-ring from the timing chain cover.
