Installation

DOOR LOCK: BACK DOOR LOCK: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY (w/o Power Back Door)

(a) Apply MP grease to the sliding parts of the back door lock assembly.

(b) Install the back door lock assembly with the 3 bolts.





Torque : 13 Nm (127 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf)

(c) Connect the connector.





2. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY (w/ Power Back Door)

(a) Apply MP grease to the sliding parts of the back door lock assembly.

(b) Install the back door lock assembly with the 3 bolts.





Torque : 13 Nm (127 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf)

(c) Install the bolt.





Torque : 13 Nm (127 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf)

(d) Engage the clamp.

(e) Connect the connector.

4. INSTALL BACK DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER LH Reassembly

5. INSTALL BACK DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER RH Reassembly

6. INSTALL BACK DOOR UPPER TRIM COVER LH Reassembly

7. INSTALL BACK DOOR UPPER TRIM COVER RH Reassembly

8. INSTALL NO. 2 ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY Installation

9. INSTALL BACK DOOR LOCK COVER Reassembly

10. INSTALL BACK DOOR FINISH COVER LH (w/o Power Back Door) Reassembly

11. INSTALL BACK DOOR TRIM BASE (w/ Power Back Door) Reassembly

12. INSTALL BACK DOOR FINISH COVER RH (w/o Power Back Door) Reassembly

13. INSTALL DOOR PULL HANDLE WITH SWITCH (w/ Power Back Door) Reassembly

14. INSTALL TONNEAU COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
