Removal





HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING: COMPRESSOR: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT

(a) Remove the fan and generator V belt Removal.

2. REMOVE LOWER FRONT BUMPER COVER Removal

3. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

4. REMOVE TRANSMISSION UNDER COVER Removal

5. REMOVE REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY Removal

6. REMOVE FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL LH Removal

7. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair

8. REMOVE RADIATOR RESERVOIR ASSEMBLY Removal

9. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE Removal

10. REMOVE FAN SHROUD Removal

11. DISCONNECT DISCHARGE HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the discharge hose from the cooler compressor.





(b) Remove the O-ring from the discharge hose.

NOTICE:
Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering them.

12. DISCONNECT SUCTION HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the suction hose from the cooler compressor.





(b) Remove the O-ring from the suction hose.

NOTICE:
Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering them.

13. REMOVE COOLER COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the connector.





(b) Remove the 3 bolts, nut and cooler compressor.

(c) Remove the stud bolt.
