DESCRIPTION

This circuit sends a DVD image signal from the radio receiver assembly to the display and navigation module display.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
After replacing the radio receiver assembly of vehicles subscribed to pay-type satellite radio broadcasts, registration of the XM radio ID is necessary. (w/ SDARS System)

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR

(a) Disconnect the J106 radio receiver assembly connector.

(b) Disconnect the J102 display and navigation module display connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. INSPECT RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (DVD IMAGE SIGNAL)

(a) Reconnect the J106 radio receiver assembly connector.





(b) Check the waveform according to the table below.

(c) Oscilloscope waveform









HINT
The video waveform changes according to the image output from the radio receiver assembly to the display and navigation module display, but the synchronization signal does not change.
