Installation





LIGHTING (EXT): STOP LIGHT SWITCH: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL STOP LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Temporarily install the stop light switch assembly with the stop light switch lock nut.

(b) Turn the stop light switch assembly so that the clearance between the end of the threaded metal part of the stop light switch and stop light switch cushion is between 0.5 to 2.4 mm (0.0197 to 0.0945 in.).

(c) Tighten the stop light switch lock nut.

Torque : 17 Nm (170 kgf-cm, 12 ft-lbf)

(d) Connect the connector.

6. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER LH Installation

7. INSTALL DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY LH Installation

8. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

9. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT

(a) Inspect the SRS warning light Diagnosis System.
