LIGHTING (EXT): HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FRONT HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Install the 2 bolts.





Torque : 14 Nm (143 kgf-cm, 10 ft-lbf)

(b) Install the front height control sensor sub-assembly LH with the nut.





Torque : 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)

(c) Connect the connector.

2. INSTALL REAR HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) When replacing the rear height control sensor sub-assembly LH:

(1) Align a new rear height control sensor sub-assembly LH with the matchmark on the bracket and trace of the nut.

(b) When reusing the rear height control sensor sub-assembly LH:

(1) Align the matchmarks on the rear height control sensor sub-assembly and bracket.

(c) Install the rear height control sensor sub-assembly LH with the 2 bolts and nut.

Bolt - Torque : 14 Nm (143 kgf-cm, 10 ft-lbf)

Nut - Torque : 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)

(d) Engage the clamp and connect the connector.
