4GR-FSE ENGINE CONTROL: KNOCK SENSOR: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL KNOCK SENSOR

(a) Install the 2 knock sensors so that they are horizontal as shown in the illustration. Then install the 2 bolts.





Torque : 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)

HINT
It is acceptable for the knock sensor to be tilted +10° to -5°.

(b) Connect the 2 knock sensor connectors.

5. INSTALL NO. 2 FUEL DELIVERY PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

6. INSTALL NO. 3 FUEL PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

7. INSTALL NO. 2 FUEL PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

8. INSTALL FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY Installation

9. CONNECT NO. 2 FUEL PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

10. INSTALL NO. 1 FUEL PIPE Installation

11. INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER ASSEMBLY Installation

12. CONNECT WATER HOSE JOINT Installation

13. INSTALL INTAKE MANIFOLD

(a) Install the intake manifold Installation.

14. INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK Fuel System
