WINDOW / GLASS: POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM: DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM

1. CHECK DLC3

(a) Check the DLC3 General Information.

2. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE

(a) Measure the battery voltage.

Standard Voltage:

11 to 14 V

If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery.

3. CHECK DIAGNOSIS

HINT
If there is a malfunction in the pulse sensor, manually operating the power window regulator master switch assembly or power window regulator switch assembly will cause the power window regulator master switch assembly or power window regulator switch assembly LED illumination to blink. The LED illumination continues to blink for 45 seconds or until the engine switch is turned off. After 45 seconds, the power window regulator master switch assembly or power window regulator switch assembly LED illumination remains on.

(a) Turn the engine switch on (IG).

(b) Manually operate the power window regulator master switch assembly or power window regulator switch assembly at each door.

(c) Check that the blinking pattern of the AUTO light is as shown in the following illustration.
